Abstract
A simple analytical model describing a focus of multimode ,different wavelength laser beams is presented in this paper. The cases of partially and completely spatially coherent radiation are considered. In the experimental part, there are presented the results of investigations of focus shifting due to the changes of an argon laser wavelengths in two different optical systems. The results are compared with the theoretical ones.
