Abstract
The results of data processing of full-scale experiments on the development of passive optical measurements technique of the integral wind speed transverse to the line of sight in the atmosphere are presented. During the measurements the temporary fluctuations of the local wavefront tilts are recorded. The local tilts were estimated from the shifts of the energy centroids of the selected areas of the remote objects images. The features of the spectral approach of velocity value estimates are considered. A comparison with estimates for the correlation function maximum delay and the acoustic measurement data was made.
