Abstract
The characteristics of conformational optical nonlinearity of nematic liquid crystals (NLC) were investigated. Expressions for NLC nonlinearity tensor as a function of order parameters are obtained for the small concentration of fototransforsed solecules. The dynamic holography procedure has shown that the contribution to the NLC refractive index change under optic nonlinearity lade by the order parameter change is dosinant. The effect of critical increasing of the parameter of nonlinearity near the nesatic-isotropic liquid phase transition was predicted and experimentaly revealed by dynamic holographic method. It was shown that the effect was caused by the increasing of correlation of the photoconformer concetration fluctuation and polarizability molecular fluctuation near phase transition.
