Abstract
Piston pin is an important and key part of engine piston and crankshaft. Its outer diameter accuracy is required to be high. The machining tolerance of 30mm diameter piston pin is 2μm. The accuracy of the testing equipment is less than 0.7μm. Its high precision and surface quality requirements determine that the non-contact on-line detection and measurement method must be used for outer diameter measurement. The changes of temperature, humidity and light in the workshop may affect the measurement results. In order to improve the measurement accuracy, it is necessary to test the relevant factors affecting the measurement system. In this paper, a test-bed is built to test these influencing factors under constant temperature environment and room temperature respectively. The influence of temperature, humidity and light change on the measurement results is analyzed. Among these three influencing factors, the results show that temperature has the greatest influence on the measurement results, humidity has a little influence, and light change (non-indirect sunlight) has little influence on the measurement results.
