Abstract
The issued Chinese national standard GB / T 34590-2017 "Road vehicles - Functional safety" modified ISO26262 which have been widely introduced into automotive industry in the world, and this paper describe the methodology how to be implemented on the Rechargeable Energy Storage Systems (RESS) of new energy vehicle. The item definition based on a typical RESS architecture of electric vehicles is presented, hazard analysis and risk assessment and the safety analysis method of HAZOP are carried out on vehicle level, scenario analysis and safety goals are concluded by consider the operating conditions and environmental constraints of the new energy vehicles.
