Abstract
A multiple aperture optical instrument capable of creating a high resolution image and spectral decomposition of a scene is described and analyzed. The instrument operates under wideband illumination, uses small apertures that are widely spaced, and incorporates electronic and digital processing to obtain high quality images and to perform spectral analysis.
