Abstract

The technology for recognizing and detecting man’s abnormal behavior in motion is a hot issue in the field of computer vision. The analysis of human movement characteristics is a crucial component of human body detection and has garnered significant attention from scholars. This process involves the use of technical means to obtain motion parameters of the human body, enabling the reconstruction of its structure and posture, and ultimately facilitating the comprehension and application of human movement. Currently, the video surveillance system is mainly designed to detect and track moving targets in the scene, while the function of identifying and recognizing the targets is poor. Under the circumstances, when emergencies occur, the video surveillance system can hardly give a real-time report on the emergencies. Thus, it is really important to design a video surveillance system that provides real-time detection and recognition of abnormal behavior of moving targets. To this end, this paper gives a review of various methods of detecting abnormal behavior based on man’s motion features. Firstly, it summarizes different methods of detecting human bodies in motion. Secondly, it sums up techniques of extracting motion features under the condition of analyzing motion features and analyzes the motion feature. Thirdly, it discusses and analyzes common algorithms of abnormal behavior detection and gives a dataset in the field of motion feature analysis. Finally, it depicts the outlook for the future study of the research field the paper discusses.
