Abstract
Most of the shoreline of Lake Baikal, especially the eastern one, is mainly represented by sandy beaches. During roughness on the lake, streams of water roll onto the shore, which move both on the surface and in the thickness of the sand. In such places, there is a potential difference that has an electrokinetic nature. The movement of liquid through the capillary system, which can be represented by sandy soil, contributes to the emergence of the streaming potentials. The report presents measuring equipment and graphs for measuring the potential difference.
