Abstract
A series of Er3+: KBaY(MoO4)3 phosphors were successfully synthesized utilizing a high temperature solid phase technique in this investigation. Their physical phases and structures were analyzed by XRD and Fourier infrared spectroscopy. The phosphorescent properties of KBaY(MoO4)3 doped with Er3+ at various concentrations were examined through analysis of both luminescence intensity and fluorescence lifetime, in both visible and near-infrared wavelengths. The impact of Er3+ ion concentration on the spectral properties of the phosphors was also studied. Experiments show that the fluorescence intensity is maximum when the Er3+ ion concentration is 5 mol%. This study has some reference significance for the development of new fluorescent materials.
