Abstract
Facing the fierce competition in the construction market, the contractor’s investigation and forecast of construction material prices is not only an important prerequisite for reasonable quotation and winning bids, but also a key link to ensure the profitability of the enterprise. The traditional cost management methods are gradually not applicable to the current cost management. With the development of science and technology, the emergence of BIM and BP neural network has brought a new concept to cost management. In this paper, based on BIM technology and BP neural network model for ex ante cost prediction; after the completion of the project, ex post cost deviation analysis is carried out to analyze the predicted cost with a certain engineering project as a case, which verifies the reliability and scientificity of the scheme and has a greater practical value for cost control and social significance.
