Abstract
With the widespread popularity of electric vehicles, the development and application of V2G technology has become one of the hot spots of current research. However, the V2G system generates harmonics and unbalanced pollution during charging and discharging, which brings challenges to the operation and stability of the power system. In this paper, we use MATLAB/Simulink software to build a simulation model of V2G system, and propose a harmonic liability assessment index based on IEEE Std 1459-2010 power theory for the harmonic and unbalanced pollution problems generated by V2G system during charging and discharging. By measuring the voltage and current components on both sides of the V2G system during charging and discharging, the evaluation index is calculated and verified. Compared with the traditional harmonic responsibility assessment index, the proposed harmonic pollution evaluation indexes are more applicable for the V2G system. This provides a basis for accurately assessing the harmonic pollution responsibility share of electric vehicles and power grids in V2G systems and formulating corresponding harmonic control strategies, which helps to protect the safe and stable operation of power systems and the interests of both sides of power grids, and provide new ideas and methods for the research and application of V2G systems.
