Abstract
In this paper one presents the results obtained in the development of a fiber optic temperature sensor based on the principle of the variation of the index of refraction of a liquid with temperature. The sensor is built by barincj the nucleus and replacinci the clad by the liquid which will act as a new clad with a hiqhly temperature dependent index of refraction. This intensity type sensor can work in several ranQes of temperature dependinQ on the particular I iquid used.
