1 August 1991 Phase-conjugate optical preprocessing filter for small-target tracking

Abstract
A nonlinear optical filter which removes transient background clutter from tracked target images through adaptive velocity selection is presented. This pre-processing filter technique is proposed to enhance track maintenance for point source and small extended objects.
