Abstract
A computer code has been developed to predict the detector output from a broad class of optical trackers with realistic input scenes. The approach is based on Fourier transform techniques with some new manipulations being introduced in frequency space. The code has been validated by use of a laboratory tracker with complex extended targets and point sources.
