Abstract
In addition to considerations concerning resolution and contrast representation in a mammography database, there are three other areas that may be overlooked when organizing a representative database. These areas are (1) pathological consensus of the diagnosis, (2) adequate quality of the mammogram, and (3) proportion of nor mal/disease and diseased/malignant in the database.
