A mathematical model of a flexible mirror, describing the vibrations of its surface due to deformations of corrector by applied forces is constructed. In the model the displacements of reflective surface W at the knots of the grid (I = 1, . . . , N where N is the whole number of the knots) are derived from the system of equations
