Abstract
Using diffraction gratings as beam splitter in LDV systems the resulting fringe spacing becomes achromatic so that light sources with different wavelengths can be used especially for the direction discrimination and for the enhancement of the intensity in the measuring volume. Keywords: spatial frequency, homodyne technique.
