21 January 1994Specially doped (Ce:Fe:) LiNbO3-based crystal holography
A special doped Ce:Fe LiNbO3 photorefractive (PR) crystal holography using a visible- light low-power laser diode is presented. Analysis of angular and wavelength selectivities of PR holograms are given, in which we have shown that the wavelength-multiplexed reflection- type holograms offer a uniform and efficient selectivity. Experimental demonstrations are provided. The application of this specially doped crystal to optical signal processing computing and neural networks are feasible.
