Abstract
A method for determination of the refractive index of several liquid media has been developed. Diffraction gratings in zirconium-silicate glasses by ion exchange were made. Refractive indices for several liquids in a wide range were determined with an accuracy 1 X 10-3. A new integrated optical device, for more precise measurements, is proposed.
