Abstract
Even a casual reading of contemporary computer literature indicates that a lot of attention is being devoted to the object-oriented (00) approach. It is clear that all of us will be using 00 sometime in the future, if for no other reason than the arguable assertion that all major computer operating systems will eventually employ objects at their very core. The intent of this workshop is to draw together those who are employing 00 in their medical-imaging research so that they may benefit from knowing who else is engaged in 00 methodology. A secondary goal is to acquaint those who know little about 00 with the basic concepts.
