Abstract
Optoelectronic array image processor based on optical matrix-vector multiplier (OMVM) can be used for real-time processing of large-format SAR images. To analyse its practical performance the mathematical model of the signal transformation in OMVM, which regards the effect of different disturbing factors (error and noise the OMVM elements, threshold discrimination, ADC non-linearity, point spread function of the OMVM optics) was developed. The obtained theoretical results are closely approximated with modern experimental data.
