Abstract
Experimental and theoretical optimization of FWMF scheme parameters with hologram recording by thermal nonlinearity for YAG:Nd from the viewpoint of its energetic efficiency has been carried out. The optical efficiency has achieved 60% at the generation pulse energy of 200 mJ for a 2-mm input beam with the energy of 50 mJ. Normal operation of the scheme in the repetitive-pulse regime (up to 25 Hz) has been demonstrated.
