Abstract
In a recent paper,1 we have proposed a new method to estimate the point spread function of an adaptive optics system, based on the data accumulated by the control computer during the acquisition. In this paper, we present some recent developments related to this method. These developments focus on the wave-front sensor noise estimation and the calibration of the so-called hidden aberrations, which are critical steps in the estimation method.
