Abstract
A method for semi-interactive 3D segmentation is described. It is an extension of the semi- interactive 2D segmentation based on the concept of fuzzy connectedness. It makes use of local and topological information at one time. In addition, the design of a protocol for 2D/3D segmentation result evaluation based on 3D synthetic images is proposed.
