Abstract

Influence of photorefractive effect in KDP crystals on solid state CW and pulse laser characteristics are investigated experimentally and for the first time. It is concluded that holographic gratings change the spectral, spatial and temporal characteristics of laser radiation, which points to the novel possibilities of using KDP crystals for control by the parameters of laser operation.
