15 November 2001Measurement of the electrostriction coefficient in liquids by stimulated Mandelshtam-Brillouin light scattering
A process of stimulated Mandelshtam-Brillouin (MB) light scattering was investigated in solutions with critical point of stratification and singular point. Temperature dependence of a behavior of the electrostriction coefficient was determined. Some changes in its value in the vicinity of critical points were revealed. Observed changes are different and depend on a nature of the critical point.
