Abstract
The existing technology of models production from sheet materials - LOM - has the shortcomings which restrict its applications: small choice of materials, low accuracy of production, limitations for shape complexity, problems of waste separation. The paper offers the experimentally justified methods of obtaining models from promising materials, which do not exhibit the above-listed shortcomings. The result was attained by optimization of laser cutting algorithms and by choosing a principally new means of selective joining of layers in the process of 3D model synthesis.
