Abstract
Guiding-center solitons in single-mode fibers are examined as carriers of precise sync-signals via both the specially developed analytical approach and the computer simulation. These pulses are preferred energetically to get picosecond accuracy, which is governed by an error in defining the energetic center of sync-pulse and does not exceed its width.
