Abstract
A Ti:LiNbO3 waveguide Y-branch electro-optic modulator is modeled and simulated employing the beam propagation method. This modeling method can be used to predict accurately the performance and dynamic behavior in waveguide modulators and several functional waveguide devices, which are used for broadband communication systems.
