Abstract

In this paper, we reported the crystal growth and optical properties of Yb³⁺ and Er³⁺ codoped yttrium scandium gallium garnet (YSGG) crystal by the conventional CZ method. The growth conditions and XRD patterns are given out.. Excitation and luminescence spectra were also recorded at room temperature with a Model F111Ai spectrofluorometer using a 980nm LD laser as an excitation source. The results were discussed in detail.
