Abstract
The outcomes of research of chaos in the field of optical radiation scattered by nematic liquid crystal during phase transition fluid - liquid crystal are represented in this paper. It was shown that the Lyapunov's maximal index of time dependence of intensity is more than zero, it means that chaos exists in the system. Moreover, the degree of randomicity increases with the growth of plate thickness of liquid crystal.
