Abstract
The process of backward Compton scattering of a laser beam on relativistic particles and coherent radiation by relativistic electron in oriented crystal are investigated. It is shown that both these processes can be considered from the unique point of view. The comparative analysis of main characteristics of radiation sources that based on these processes is presented.
