Abstract
Design strategy for linear parameter varying systems (LPV) is considered in the two-degree-of-freedom control framework. Firstly, coprime factorization described in state space formulas for LPV systems are newly introduced based on parameter-dependent Lyapunov function. Secondly, based on this coprime factorization, two-degree-of-freedom control framework of LTI system is extended to LPV systems. Good tracking performance and good disturbance rejection are compatibly achieved by a feedforward controller and a feedback controller, respectively. Furthermore, each controller design problem can be formulated in terms of linear matrix inequality related to L2 gain performance. Finally, a simple design example is illustrated.
