Abstract
The investigation of the transverse photorefractive effect in KD*P crystal are carried out by interferometric method at its excitation perpendicularly of optical axis of the crystal on the wave length 1 ,08 microns. The results are compared with earlier obtained at excitation of the effect along an optical axis of the crystal. It was found that the amplitude of the photorefractive field in longitudinal geometry of excitation is to adequate amplitude of a field in transverse geometry of excitation, truth at some magnification of the density of energy of stimulating radiation.
