Abstract
We present a novel technique for high-speed image acquisition for traditional light microscopes. The technique can be used for high-throughput scanning applications in all traditional fields of light microscopy. Because of the significant speed increase in image acquisition, the technique offers a wide range of application potentials, foremost in a clinical environment where it constitutes an enhanced diagnostic tool.
