Abstract
In this paper the spectral characteristics of Rayleigh scattering parameters were considered for different types of single-mode fibers. Making use of Gauss approximation mode field, I have proposed analytical equations for scattering parameters. Using these equations spectral characteristics of scattering parameters are calculated for the most used types of single-mode fibers. Results of calculations were compared and analyzed.
