Abstract
Gold nanoparticles were prepared by laser ablation in water. Size separation was realized by sedimentation and centrifuging. The interaction of the protein (bull serum albumin - BSA) and gold nanoparticles was investigated in water solution. The obtained samples were characterized by approximation of optical absorption spectra in terms of Drude model for metal cores with dielectric shells.
