Abstract
A novel type of surface plasmon-polariton modes having the cylindrical symmetry in the plane interface of a metal film bounded by dielectric slabs is investigated. Bessel- and Hankel- modifications of such modes are introduced and studied. The possibility of excitation surface waves on the cylindrical surface also is analyzed. The dispersion equation for these waves has been obtained and investigated.
