Abstract
Routing design is a convenient and effective way to ensure the safety of the navigation in dynamic uncertain environments. This study presents a novel routing design algorithm using rolling time frame method combined with the traditional Artificial Potential Field (APF) algorithm. By periodically collecting the environmental information and mobile obstacles situation with rolling time frame method, the proposed algorithm is capable of predicting the distribution of obstacles got by the ship assistant equipments so as to design the navigational routes to accommodate to the dynamic uncertain environments. The practical stimulation results indicate that the algorithm can help the ships effectively avoid the mobile obstacles in dynamic uncertain environments.
