Abstract
Stitching technology is used to enlarge the tested area in interference and fringe projection system. By using this method we can test the profile of object which is larger than testing aperture. In the traditional digital holographic technique, only small objects can be recorded and reconstructed. In this study, a holographic phase stitching technique is proposed to solve this problem. Differ from the interference and fringe projection stitching, holographic phase stitching has its characteristic in the holographic diffraction process. In this paper, taking plane image measurement as an example, the theory of holographic phase stitching is presented. Stitching errors in the holographic phase stitching are deeply analyzed and relevant 2×2 stitching simulation is performed using a phase grating.
