Abstract
The paper presents the problem of repeatability of ion exchange processes with respect to planar waveguide structures produced with the application of this method. A numerical control method of diffusion processes based on the assumed mathematical model of exchange processes has been presented. The results of diffusion process control have been illustrated by the measurement results of the produced waveguides. The provided research results, involving the repeatability of the said technological processes, refer to sodium-silica glass with the admixture of silver ions Ag+.
