Abstract
We present a survey of apodization functions intended to suppress diffraction effects over a finite propagation distance and within a finite "score" region on the final plane. Such apodization functions would be suitable for use in numerical simulations as part of a scheme to reduce numerical computation cost without sacrificing numerical accuracy.
