Abstract
In this work we have experimentally demonstrated the efficiency enhancement of single junction amorphous silicon solar cells fabricated on plastic and glass substrates by using Distributed Bragg Reflectors (DBR). Our results show that the short-circuit current density and as a result the conversion efficiency is enhanced by 10% for the cells fabricated on textured TCO coated glasses.
