Abstract
Service-oriented software development is becoming a prominent paradigm by which web-based applications can be easily assembled and delivered much faster than traditional approaches Traceability is a key requirement for reusable services. Traditional software design approach is not suitable to development of the reusable services. This paper proposes an architecture based service development that combines architecture-centric modeling approach with service development process, which results in traceable services. The architectural patterns model relationships among services explicitly, thus they support to integrate service components of varying levels of granularity effectively and efficiently.
