Abstract
A new image fusion method based on intuitionistic fuzzy clustering is proposed in this paper. In this method, two multisource images are decomposed firstly by multiwavelet filter groups. Secondly, intuitionistic fuzzy similarity is used to cluster the decomposing sub-images respectively. Thirdly, decomposition coefficients of fused image are formed according to the clustering results. The experimental results show that there is a noticeable improvement in the information and visual quality of the fused images.
