Abstract
Based on the analyses for the characteristics of high precise GPS deformation monitor, according to the spatial relationship among the satellites, base points and monitoring points, and using the carrier phases as the basic observations, and using the precise baseline vectors obtained in the first period observations between the base point and monitoring point as the initial condition, the new similar single-difference mathematical model and its corresponding algorithm are advanced to solve the monitor point deformation information at single epoch. This model or methodology is abbreviated to SSDM. The main error sources that effect the accuracy of deformation information solved by SSDM are discussed. In order to improve the correctness, reliability and stability of the deformation information series solved by the SSDM model, Kalman filtering algorithm is established. According to the SSDM theory, the GPS Deformation Monitor Information Quick Resolution Software, abbreviated to GQuickS, is developed successfully. The test results, solved by the SSDM theory and GQuickS, show that the resolution accuracy can reach ±2∼plusmn;3mm in horizontal component, and ±4∼±6mm in vertical component.
