Abstract
The 3D landscape system of Digital City is an urgent demand. Because of dense urban construction and complex topography, capture of 3D spatial information is very difficult, traditional manual modeling method is impossible to complete a large-scale 3D modeling. In this paper 3D laser scanning technique is introduced to capture urban spatial information rapidly. Data processing methods of filter by range and filtering based 2D Delaunay are presented. And the technology and method of modeling on the points cloud are discussed. Finally as an example, the 3D landscape models of a campus are introduced in detail.
