Abstract
We report on analysis of epoxy composite reinforced with a glass fiber mat by means of Time Domain Spectroscopy (TDS) technique in reflection way. The samples consisted of 2 or 3 layers with the beveling angle of the layers equal to 90° and thickness up to 2 mm. Two samples with artificially induced air-bubbles (~1-2 mm in diameter) and a sample which consisted of the 2 layers of epoxy and a layer of an air-bubble foil between them were also investigated. The measurements shown that all layers as well as defects can be identified.
