Abstract
In order to find out the structural changes of land use / cover in Farm of Xinjiang Production and Construction Group(XPCG), Using the satellite remote sensing images of the 148th group in 2002 and 2007, Through the image processing information extracting, we have done the dynamic monitoring for the changes of land use, and done the quantitative analysis for the characteristics of land use changes in this period of 5 years. The writer also discusses the driving principle of land use changes from the natural factors and social economic factors. It can provide several scientific basises for government and the relevant departments in the process of industrialization and management of urban planning.
