Abstract
This paper presents the results of experimental investigation of thermal lens effect. The thermal lens effect was induced by Ar ion laser in liquid ethanol, as an absorbing medium. Using a simple model, the focal length of the thermal lens medium was determined by evaluating the experimental results.
